Kathryn & Jason's Reception at the Mission Inn

Kathryn & Jason were married April 6, 2008 in Tennesee. I had the pleasure of providing the flowers for their Reception on April 20, 2008 in the Music Room and the Mission Inn. Although it was only the reception, Kathryn still carried a bouquet. Her Hand Tied Bouquet of Ivory, Leonida, and Spicey Roses with an accent of Green Hypercum was an excellent choice! Simple, yet Stylish Centerpieces adorned their twenty tables. This Centerpiece, which can be done in just about any color combination, continues to be one of our most popular choices for our budget conscious brides. Lighted Curly Willow Arrangements in Tall Chocolate Brown Stands provided a nice backround to Kathryn & Jason's Sweetheart table, along with a coordinating floral arrangement.

Olga & Jim at Guasti Villa

Olga & Jim were married April 18, 2008 at the Guasti Villa in Ontario. Their wedding colors of Ivory, Clover Green, and Chocolate Brown went along beautifully with the ambiance of the Guasti Villa. Simple Hand Tied Bouquets of Lilies and a Cymbidium Orchid lined the aisle of their Courtyard ceremony. The Centerpieces were in bubble bowls wrapped with Curly Willow and a mixed arrangement of Ivory, Whites, and Greens.

Christina & Scott at the Mission Inn

Christina & Scott were married April 12, 2008 at the Mission Inn. Christina carried a hand tied bouquet of White Miniature Calla Lilies surrounded by Green Cymbidium Orchids. The bridesmaids bouquets were Orange Calla Lilies surrounded by Green Cymbidium Orchids. Christina & Scott decided to keep the Chapel very simple with White Silk Rose Petals down the aisle and Votive Candles along the side walls. I always say that adding these votive candles gives a romantic feel to the Chapel for very little expense. The reception was held in the Galleria. The tables had Chocolate Organza Overlays and the Chocolate Satin Napkins were each given a White Dendrobium Bloom accent. The unique centerpieces were in Tall Cylinder Vases with Long Stem Calla Lilies, Chocolate Curly Willow, and Steel Grass. Also accenting the tables, were two 4" Bubble Bowls of White Hydrangea with Chocolate Curly Willow. Kirk from The Baker's Oven provided their white frosted cake with Chocolate Ribbon. We added the fresh flowers of Green Cymbidium Orchids and White & Green Dendrobium Orchids.

Olivia & Tom

Olivia & Tom were married April 11, 2008 at St Anthony's Church in Upland, California. Their reception was held at the Rancho Cucamonga Senior Center at Central Park. Olivia's beautiful bouquet of Pink Cattleya Orchids and Bombay Dendrobium Orchids was perfect for their Tropical Themed wedding. Olivia's 10 bridesmaids (yes, I said 10!) carried bouquets of Orange Asiatic & Pink Stargazer Lilies. The flower girls handed out single stems of Bright Pink and Bright Orange Gerbera Daisies.

Sarah & Brook at the Mission Inn

Sarah & Brook were married April 5, 2008 at the Mission Inn. Sarah's bridemaids wore Chocolate Brown dress which their bouquets of Light Greens, Ivory, and a touch of Chocolate Hypercum Berries accented beautifully. We kept the Chapel decor simple with a Fresh Garland of Seeded Eucalyptus & Lemon Leaf tied with Chocolate Satin Ribbons. We also lined the side walls of the Chapel with small Votive Candles to give off a nice romantic glow! The reception was held in the Galleria Room. Sarah & Brook chose two styles of centerpieces. The elevated centerpieces were on our rustic vine pedestal, which are nice because they are high enough for the guests at the tables to speak to each other without the flowers being in the way. The low centerpieces were placed in a deep bronze colored urn that the Bride provided us. She also provided smaller, but taller urns for the cocktail tables in the Courtyard. For an evening event where guests mingle outside, it's nice to decorate these tables as well as the ones inside! Sarah & Brook's linen choice of French Brocade in Basil color was a great choice! It was something a little "out of the box" that made her reception stand out from the rest! The chair covers in Ivory Satin with a Chocolate Organza sash, and Chocolate Satin napkins went together nicely!

Lauren & Duke at the Mission Inn

Lauren & Duke were married March 30, 2008 at the Mission Inn. The wedding colors of Bright Pink & Bright Green definitely showed through her centerpieces! Lauren's dad cut fresh Manzanita branches and supplied the large plaster urn. We arranged the branches and added Roses, Fuji Mums, and Fuschia Dendrobium Orchids. These "tree" centerpieces went along nicely with the high ceilings in the Spanish Art Gallery and were complemented on by all Lauren & Duke's guests! And, to break up the room, it was a nice decision that the bride made to use a lower centerpiece as well as the high trees. When you look out into the room you see flowers all over the room rather than just high or just low.

Nicole & David at the Mission Inn

Nicole & David were married at the Mission Inn on March 29, 2008. Nicole wanted a simple bouquet just as an accent, her decision to go with White Peonies with White & Black Anemones did just that! The bridesmaids carried small bouquets of Black Magic Roses and Red & Black Anemones. Nicole brought me two different centerpiece containers that were a deep red color. I used a mix of red & burgundy flowers, including Red & Black Gerbera Daisies and Seeded Eucalyptus that I painted black to add their accent color. Simply Cakes Bakery provided the "Champagne" colored cake which we decorated with Black Magic Roses. Nicole & David chose Red Satin Linens, Black Satin Chair Covers with a Cherry Iridescent Sash, and Black Satin Napkins.

Denise & Geoff at the Mission Inn

Denise & Geoff were married March 29, 2008. Their ceremony was held at St Paul the Apostle Church in Chino Hills and their reception was held at the Mission Inn in the Music Room. Denise's Beidermeier Style Bouquet of peach Calla Lilies, Cream Roses, and Green Cymbidium Orchids was a beautiful choice! Her bridesmaids carried hand tied bouquets of Cream Roses, Pale Yellow Stock, Green Mini Cymbidium Orchids and a touch of Orange Unique Roses for a hint of color. A large White Dendrobium Orchid arrangement on Denise & Geoff's place card table made a really nice accent as guests made their way into the reception. The centerpieces were mixed arrangements in the wedding colors of peach, pale yellow, light greens, white, and ivory in a small urn to add a touch of gold accent. The Mango Organza Overlays with the Gold Chiavari Chairs changed the look of the Music Room in the most amazing way! Their DJ, Scott Yoffe at Entertainment Express provided the lighting along the walls. The lighting is such a subtle addition that can really give the room a dramatic accent! Mary Jo Gallegos from An Affaire of the Heart was Denise & Geoff's Coordinator. She did an excellent job making sure that everything ran smoothly from start to finish!

Jennifer & John at the San Diego Marriott

Jennifer & John were married March 15, 2008 at San Diego Marriott. Jennifer is an Event Coordinator who I did an event for last year! Talk about pressure! Out of her many choices I had to be sure to prove that she made the correct choice in choosing us for her wedding day! Their ceremony was on a four story rooftop overlooking the marina! The view was just amazing. Her colors of purple, lavender and whites showed beautifully on the the site provided arch. Her centerpieces were in her same wedding colors in an antique ivory urn. I received a wonderful email from her the day after her wedding...

My Very Own Wedding!

On January 20, 2008, my fiance and I tied the knot at the Historic Mission Inn in Riverside, California! We had been dating about 7 years, and decided it was about time! But, since I am in the business and really didn't want to take any time away from any of my brides....I planned our wedding in 4 weeks! Yes, that right! 4 weeks!!

The location was an easy choice. The Mission Inn is know for it's beautiful venue, but the food just makes it out of this world! The dinner and service was beyond expectation! I also had the help of two of my favorite Wedding Coordinators, Mary Jo Gallegos of An Affaire of the Heart, and Holly M. Chavez of HMC Event Solutions. Over the years, these two ladies have become more than just fabulous coordinators to me, they are my friends! Scott Yoffe from Entertainment Express made sure that my reception ran smoothly and that all of our guest had a spectacular time! Simply Cakes Bakery in Riverside, provided the most amazing and delicious cake! Rev. Judy DeMarco blessed us with a most memorable ceremony! George from RC Photography in Rancho Cucamonga far exceeded my expectations for photographs! I will cherish our wedding photos forever! Vantage Point Productions provided our wedding video. This is one thing that we decided on at the last minute, and I am so glad we did! Even though the wedding was only a few months ago, there were things on the video that we had already forgotten about, or missed altogether! We laughed and cried watching it for the first time! My hair and make-up was done by Heaven with RC Beauty and Spa in Rancho Cucamonga. She traveled to the Mission Inn and the proof of her work is in the photos! I couldn't have asked for more! And last, but not least, the flowers!! Of course, Cupid's Arrow provided all the flowers, decor, and linens for my wedding! My bouquet consisted of Black Magic & Candy Bianca Roses, Red Charm Peonies, and Burgundy Cymbidium Orchids. My first choice for my bouquet was Pale Pink Peonies with Black Magic Roses, but even being in the business didn't help when it came to Mother Nature's decision to not make the Pale Pink Peonies available on my weekend! But, in the end, the second choice ended up being the bouquet of my dreams! The chapel is already beautiful in itself! I added votive candles along the side walls to give it a very romantic feel, and also covered the altar table with assorted size cylinder candles and votives. The front railing was draped with ivory chiffon and burgundy and pale pink flower cluster at the center. And, down the aisle I had small hand tied bouquets attached to the chairs. In the reception, I used Champagne satin chair covers with a cherry red iridescent sash, Champagne linens, and Champagne napkins with a cherry red ribbon. My centerpieces were elevated on a rustic ivy stand in burgundy with a touch of pale pink, I even added red crystals to hang from the stands. I also added red square votives and red & pale pink M & M favors to each table. We do so many weddings throughout the year, and there are all unique in their own way! I just wanted that very same uniqueness in my own wedding! I hope you enjoy the pictures! And if you have any questions about any of my vendors, please let me know! I highly recommend each and every one of them!!!
